To put these events on a timeline is kind of surreal. It has been such a long endeavor but it almost feels like yesterday I was sitting at our kitchen table completing the adoption application for Holt. We hope to get some photos of Isaiah soon since we haven't had any since June 2013...6 months ago. ugh
2012
January 21, 2012--We decided to start the adoption process
January 27, 2012--We completed the adoption application
March 7, 2012--First part of the home study was completed
March 14, 2012--Second part of the home study was completed
2013
March, 2013--Home study update was done
June 28, 2013--I-600A was approved
July 18, 2013--Matched
July 25, 2013--Our Emigration Permit was submitted
October 21, 2013--EP was approved
November 14, 2013--Our case was submitted to the Korean courts
December 4, 2012--We were notified of our court date
2014
January 12, 2014--Leave for Korea
January 14, 2014--Arrive in Korea
January 15, 2014--Meet Isaiah!
January 22, 2014--Appear in court
February 2014--Bring Isaiah home???
Of course there was a bunch of paperwork done in between what you see here, but the above events are the highlights of the adoption.
